American University's worldwide initiative.
To ensure the full exercise of the right to research around the world, the regulation of exceptions and limitations to copyright has to be as harmonious as possible across national and European borders.
With this in mind, the PIJIP group at American University has developed a survey with the aim of investigating the obstacles encountered in text and data mining in computational research. The initiative aims to identify the problems and issues encountered by practitioners around the world in order to identify possible solutions and to develop initiatives in international copyright policy.
The survey is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese and takes about 10 minutes to complete.
