First in-person meeting of the ICDI Competence Center and launch of the Data Steward Community in Italy

The ICDI Competence Center, in collaboration with the European project Skills4EOSC, has scheduled its first in-person meeting for November 7, 2023, in Rome, at the ICCU (Central Institute for the Cataloging of Italian Libraries).

This significant event coincides with the GARR 2023 Workshop, which will also be held at the ICCU and the National Central Library of Rome.

The primary goal of this meeting is to plan the activities for the coming months. The morning will be dedicated to a meeting of the ICDI Competence Center, where topics of relevance to the Data Steward community will be discussed. In the afternoon, the Italian Data Steward community will be officially launched, paving the way for new opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange.

The objective is to promote the development of Data Steward skills in Italy and enhance their recognition.
