The University of Trento joins ICDI

Thanks to the agreement signed a few days ago, the University of Trento officially joins ICDI.

The participation of the University of Trento to the ICDI forum has the twofold objective of contributing to the national strategic vision on computing and data infrastructures, as well as providing a concrete contribution to the national and European road mapping activities towards the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).

In this context, three key aspects the University of Trento will focus its attention on will concern: the promotion of the vision of Open Science in the different contexts of innovation and research in which the University is involved, the knowledge and application of FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles for the management of scientific data repositories, and the concrete participation to the implementation of the European data strategy.
